The five teenage suspects, all based in Leeds, have been charged with burglary.
The 45-year-old man, who has no fixed abode, has been charged with aiding and abetting burglary with intent to steal.
They have been released on conditional bail and are due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 15 November 2018.
