Norse restaurant in Harrogate has closed with immediate effect.
In January this year, owner, Paul Rawlinson appealed for more support.
But today in a message on the restaurants facebook page they say they have failed to attract sufficient numbers to make it a viable business and have closed.
Rawlinson said that he didn’t blame the failure of the restaurant on conditions within the industry, Brexit or any other external factors and cited that he had personally not taken enough steps to tell people about the restaurant. He has thanked his staff and support from his customers.
The restaurant started as a pop-up restaurant at Baltzersens on Oxford Street during 2014 and, following crowdfunding and other investment, moved to Swan Road in 2017.
