Following a media appeal, Ryan Mulvaney has now been arrested and currnlty remains in police custody for questioning.
Mulvaney was wanted in connection with two burglaries. One burglary happened in Stonefall Avenue, Harrogate on 2 November. Sometime between 4pm and 5pm, an offender entered the property via an insecure door and a purse containing numerous bank cards was stolen.
The second burglary happened on 8 November in High Street, Knaresborough. The offender entered the property via an insecure door and a handbag containing a purse was stolen.
