North Yorkshire Police have a man in custody this morning after he failed to stop the vehicle his was driving.
At around 11.25pm, on the night of 26 October 2016, police requested a Vauxhall Corsa to stop in Knaresborough.
The vehicle failed to stop and officers pursued the vehicle into Harrogate. The pursuit ended at around 11.30pm in the area of Woodlands Drive.
A man ran from the vehicle and was later found hiding nearby. He was arrested on suspicion of driving while disqualified and drink driving. He remains in police custody for questioning.
