Emergency services are at the scene of a serious collision on the Northbound carriageway of the A19 at the A684 Ellerbeck Junction near Northallerton.
The incident happened shortly before 10am today, Friday 30 September 2016, and involved three vehicles.
The northbound carriageway has been closed and is expected to be closed for some time. Drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
