Back in 2010 they were members of the same team – Harrogate District Diving Club.
Now GB’s Olympic gold medallist Jack Laugher and Oliver Dingley, diving for the Republic of Ireland, will be competing against each other in the 3 metre springboard competition which gets underway in Rio today (Monday 15 August 2016).
Both young men were coached by Damian Ball, then Head Coach and Diving Development Manager at the Hydro in Harrogate. Damian is currently out in Rio coaching Oliver.
