Harrogate-based developer Marrtree has begun construction work on a new £3m business park, part of the final phase of the 18 acre retail and industrial development at Quest Park in Doncaster, which is set to create 50 jobs when the scheme is completed in January 2017.
The new 3.6 acre Marrtree Business Park site will comprise 47,000 sq ft of trade counter units and warehousing. The scheme follows Marrtree’s recent completion of a similar 20,000sq ft development at St James Business Park in Knaresborough.
The Marrtree group of companies, run by brothers William and George Marshall, has operated for over 60 years and is now based at Cardale Park.
William Marshall said:
We are already fielding a steady stream of enquiries from businesses looking for good quality warehousing in Doncaster.
Our largest unit, at 10,000 sq ft, is sparking particularly high levels of interest and we look forward to seeing Marrtree Business Park fully occupied by thriving businesses that will bring an estimated 50 new jobs to the area.

Quest Park, which has been developed on the former Dupont nylon factory site, is already home to a collection of blue chip brands, including Toyota, Audi, Dulux and pharmaceutical wholesaler Mawdsleys.
