A group of estate agents will be raising money for this year’s Children in Need charity appeal by continuously peddling on a static spinning bike for over eight hours straight on Friday 13th November in Dacre Son & Hartley’s Pateley Bridge office.
Alison Reilly, Heidi Harrison, Emma Bennet, Michelle Amour, Andy Skelton, Lucy Morton and Will Staveley from the Pateley Bridge, Ripon and Thirsk Dacre Son & Hartley offices are all part of the team.
This is the third year that Dacre Son & Hartley staff – led by sales negotiator Alison Reilly – have raised money in this way for Children In Need. Having raised over £1000 to date, the team are hoping to exceed last years’ total of £700 and they are appealing to anyone who would like to support them to get in touch.
The estate agents will also be selling home-made cakes, buns and biscuits throughout the day as well as having a tombolo and raffle.
Sales negotiator Alison Reilly, who is organising the event says:
We are installing the spinning bike in a prominent position in the office so people passing by can watch everyone as they pedal for about an hour each. So many people called into support us last year and if anyone wants to get involved by donating prizes or baking some tasty treats we would be absolutely delighted.
The people of Pateley Bridge have been extremely generous in the past supporting us in our fund-raising challenges and we are really looking forward to raising money for such a fabulous cause.
The spinning challenge will take place between 9am and 5.30pm on Friday 13th November at Dacre Son & Hartley, Kings House, 13 High St, Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire HG3 5AP. Contact Alison on 01423 711010 for more details or to sponsor the agents.
