Harrogate Police have released further information on the violent incident that occurred on Friday 25 September 2015.
The incident occurred at around 9.15pm at a property in Chatsworth road.
A man and a woman received injuries from what is believed to be a large bladed weapon. The weapon is is yet to be found. Their injuries are not life threatening, although the man, aged 38, was taken to hospital for treatment.
- 27 year woman was arrested at the scene on suspicion of wounding with intent. She has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
- 29 year old man was also arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Police are appealing for information about two men who were seen in Chatsworth Road at the time of the incident.
- One of the men is described as white, between 20 and 30 years old with short mousey brown hair, 5ft 9” – 5ft 10” tall, of medium/athletic build and was wearing a grey jumper.
- The other man is described as white, of skinny build with a shaved head and was wearing a grey hooded top. He is believed to be slightly shorter in height than the other man.
Anyone who saw men of these descriptions in the Chatsworth Road area last night, Friday 25 September, is asked to contact the police.
Police are also urging members of the public to get in touch if they have seen an object of this description discarded somewhere in the area.
