Police are appealing for information following a recent spate of two in one burglaries.
They were committed between Tuesday 5 April and Thursday 7 April 2011 from Sutton in Craven and Harrogate.
A blue Fiat Punto was stolen from a property on Park Avenue, Sutton in Craven between midnight and 7am on Tuesday 5 April.
As well as the car, the burglars also stole a Nintendo Wii games console, a Dell Aspire laptop, an Apple iPod and an LG LCD television.
Two white 3 Series BMWs were stolen from addresses in Harrogate.
The first was taken between Daleside Avenue between 6.30am and 5.30pm on Tuesday 5 April. The thieves also stole an IBM Thinkpad, a Samsung television and an Apple iPod as well as a gold and blue topaz ring.
The second BMW was stolen from Yew Tree Lane between 10pm on Tuesday 5 April and 6.30am Wednesday 6 April 2011.
Thieves have also stolen a grey Volkswagen Golf from outside a property on Franklin Road between 12noon on Wednesday 6 April and 6.50am Thursday 7 April 2011. Just before the theft they broke into a vehicle which was parked next to it and stole a mobile phone.
Detective Sergeant Paul Schofield of Harrogate CID, said: “Following this recent spate of thefts the offenders are clearly targeting high value cars and ask owners to be aware of the vehicle’s security.
