Harrogate based charted accountants, Holeys, have appointed Peter Rookes as an Associate. Peter, who is a qualified Chartered Accountant, joined Holeys in 2009. He specialises in working closely with businesses to develop their business plans, budgets and internal accounting systems.
The firm is also celebrating a number of exam successes. Gyles Behbood and Joe Baker have both become Chartered Accountants having completed their ICAEW qualification with excellent results. Stuart Duckenfield has gained his AAT qualification and will commence his Chartered Accountancy qualification later this year.
Holeys has also strengthened its team with the appointment of Emma Braunton as Payroll Manager. Emma will be supporting clients with their payroll needs and providing technical and practical assistance with the requirements of workplace pensions automatic enrolment which are now applying to many small businesses.
Tim Yates, a director at Holeys said:
We work hard to provide quality support to our clients, and this promotion is very well deserved by Peter who has made significant contributions.
We are delighted with Gyles and Joe’s exam success and they will both reinforce the quality service we provide to our clients.
Emma has joined just as employers face a raft of new legislation relating to automatic enrolment and she is already helping our clients meet those requirements
