Organisers of the Aldborough and Boroughbridge Show are urging people to go along to the show on Sunday, 19 July 2015.
Show Chairman, Cat Peyton said:
We are really looking for to this years show this year.
It is on the Dishforth Airfield for the 2nd year running as it worked well for us last year – it gives us lots of parking and space for the event itself.
The entries for categories are looking really good again this year, we are hoping this years show will be the biggest and best so far.
This year’s main events:
Fire and rescue demonstration
- Heavy horse working display
- Terrier racing
- Vintage vehicle parade
- Hounds
- Private driving
- Dog agility display
Cat Peyton added:
Last year were had a bit of a down-pour during the middle of the afternoon. The current forecast does show the possibility of some rain, but clearing by the time most people start arriving at 10am.
The day is a real family day with lots of stands and events to keep everyone entertained the whole day.
Tickets are available on the gate, under 5’s free, 5-16’s £2, Adults £8, Concessions £5
The show field location is Dishforth Airfield and will be signposted on the day from all directions entering Boroughbridge.

There is free bus service from Minskip, Boroughbridge and Aldbrough.
There is plenty of free parking.
