Two Harrogate outdoor activity companies, Log Heights and Live For Today Adventures have teamed up to expand the range of outdoor experiences available through Log Heights on the Ripley Castle estate.
Log Heights, have been based at Ripley Castle for over 15 years and specialise in team development and high ropes activities.
Owner, James Gaston explains:
Over the years our high and low ropes activities have been a popular choice for corporate away days, as well as families, groups and children’s parties.
Our visitors love the location and the opportunity to try something different. Many visitors return and we have seen a rise in demand for additional activities.
We therefore wanted to expand the range of activities available and work with another local business who have the same drive and enthusiasm, and like me, want to create lasting memories for everyone that visits.
We thought Live For Today Adventures would be perfect partners as they already offer a variety of quality outdoor activities.
Dan Miller, a company partner at Live for Today, said:
Working with Log Heights is a fantastic opportunity, we established Live for Today in 2012, setting up our base at Hazlewood Castle and have grown from strength to strength.
We now hope to bring the same high quality activities to the stunning grounds of Ripley Castle.
Visitors to the Ripley Castle estate will now be able to take part in a variety of new and exciting activities which may include Bush Craft, Canoeing, Den Building, Kayaking, Archery, Orienteering, Body Zorbing and more.
Sir Thomas Ingilby of Ripley Castle said:
This is excellent news, not only for Log Heights and Live for Today, but also for Ripley Castle and the other businesses in the village.
The additional activities will attract more visitors to the tea rooms, Boars Head Hotel and other shops in the village.
Visitors will be able to choose from a fantastic range of activities and it will make Ripley an even stronger tourist attraction.
