Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a car collided with a bus and a police vehicle in Harrogate.
It happened at around 11.55pm on Saturday 25 October 2014, when a blue Peugeot 106 collided with a black and red Harrogate and District bus on Knaresborough Road, near to the junction with Newnham Street.
The bus was travelling towards Knaresborough and the Peugeot was travelling in the opposite direction.
At the time of the crash, the bus was carrying a number of passengers. Fortunately they were not injured, however the driver of the bus, a 53-year-old man from Harrogate, sustained minor injuries. He was treated at Harrogate District Hospital and later released.
The driver of the Peugeot, a 35-year-old woman from Harrogate was also treated for minor injuries and later released from hospital.
Shortly before the collision with the bus, the Peugeot had been involved in a collision with a stationary police vehicle on Globe Street, before leaving the scene in the direction of Knaresborough Road.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed either of the collisions to contact them.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 35-year-old woman from Harrogate, was arrested and has been charged with
- Dangerous driving
- Failing to report an accident
- Failing to provide a specimen for analysis
- Driving without insurance and an MOT offence
She is due to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on 13 November 2014.
