An evening with football World Cup final referee Howard Webb at Harrogate’s Hotel du Vin will help to raise funds for the Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation.
The Foundation raises funds to support young people across Yorkshire and this will be its first fundraiser of the year.
Howard Webb will talk about his life and career at a three-course dinner at Hotel du Vin on Thursday 12 May. Tickets are priced at £80 and half the cost will go to the Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation.
Foundation chairman Peter McCormick, of McCormicks Solicitors, said: “Howard Webb has an unrivalled pedigree as a leading referee and, on top of that, comes from Yorkshire! This promises to be a fascinating evening and we are indebted to Hotel du Vin for offering to host it.”
The Yorkshire Young Achievers Foundation was founded last year to mark the 18th anniversary of the Yorkshire Young Achievers Awards, sponsored by McCormicks, and offers direct funding to young people and charitable projects across the region.
