Well over 400 Sherlock Holmes descended on Temple Newsam in Leeds to claim the Guinness World Record.
The event was organised to gain funds and awareness for the Yorkshire Brain Research Centre in Leeds.
The Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation launched a new Brain Research Appeal in January 2014 to raise £2 million by 2015
The appeal will create a world-class Yorkshire Brain Research Centre in Leeds to help tackle brain conditions, including Parkinson’s disease, Epilepsy, Multiple Sclerosis and Dementia.
