On Saturday, 23 August 2014, emergency services received reports that a man had collapsed near to Wetherspoons on Crescent road in Harrogate.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: Officers were called at 10.15pm on Saturday 23 August 2014, to Crescent Road, following a report that a man had collapsed.
On arrival they found a 46-year-man from Glasgow, being treated by paramedics.
He was taken to Harrogate District Hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and no one else is being sought in connection with the incident.
