After a rigorous selection process including hustings and group activities, Harrogate Grammar School have announced the appointment of Ciara Martin as Head Girl and Jamaal Mens as Head Boy for 2014-15.
Anya Gair, Hannah Deacon, Niamh McGarrell, Jack Lonergan, Sam Webb and Tom Sheriff have successfully been appointed as Deputies.
Smiling Head Girl Ciara said: We are both honoured to have this leadership opportunity.
Jamaal added: We want to inspire younger students in the way that previous head students inspired us.
This new Student Leadership Team welcomed over 30 previous Head Boys and Girls, spanning a period of 50 years, to an inaugural Alumni dinner on Saturday 12 July.
