Harrogate Town 3 Redditch United 0 Att.207
Harrogate Town continued their recent upsurge in form with a comprehensive victory over basement club, Redditch United.
It took Town only two minutes to open their account;Richard Marshall’s cross being bundled in by Graeme Armstrong.
Chib Chilaka was proving a handful for the visitors, and after thirtyone minutes he was hauled down in the penalty area, allowing penalty specialist Armstrong to make it two from the spot, and his own personal tally to eighteen for the season.
Redditch, belying their lowly position provided stout resistance and never gave up.
However, just beyond the hour,a fine run and shot from Wayne Phillips put the result beyond doubt.
This allowed Simon Weaver the chance to bring on all three subs, and set his sights on Saturday’s home game against Gloucester City.
