A man has been assaulted as he walked his dog in Harrogate.
At around 7.25pm on Saturday 10 May 2014, the victim, a 61-year-old local man, was walking his dog along Dragon Avenue when he was followed by another man who shouted at him to put his pet on a lead.
The victim continued walking and as he approached Mornington Crescent he turned to ask the man to leave him alone and was punched in the face, knocking him to the ground.
The man continued to shout at the victim before he was moved away by other members of the public and he walked off in the direction of Dragon Parade.
Officers are trying to trace the man responsible for the assault and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
The man is described as white, around 5ft 11in tall, aged between 25 and 30, with a medium build, short dark brown hair, and a stubbly beard which was lighter in colour than his hair.
He was wearing a dark blue knee-length raincoat, light-coloured bottoms, and dark shoes and was carrying a medium-sized dark-coloured rucksack.
The victim suffered minor injuries in the incident.
