Appeal for van driver to get in touch following collision with cyclist

On Friday 24 January 2014 a cyclist was in collision with a van in Harrogate.

The van driver stopped to help the cyclist and checked on his wellbeing but did not leave any contact details.

The cyclist, a local man in his twenties, went home but later received hospital treatment to his leg.

Police are now appealing for the driver of a white van to contact them after a cyclist was knocked of his bike on York Place.

The incident happened between 7.50am and 8.15am on York Place when the cyclist was heading in the direction of the Empress roundabout the van pulled out of Queen’s Parade and collided with the bike.

Police need the van driver to contact them along with anyone else who witnessed the collision.
