The first-half started fairly even on a heavy surface.
The game suddenly burst into life when Railway scored 3 goals in 4 minutes. First up was Colin Hunter with a sublime curved shot around the keeper. Next up was Nathan Cartman who calmly chipped the keeper after being put through by Colin Hunter and to finish off Hunter converted a penalty after Youhill had been brought down.
To make matters worse Sefton Gonzales missed from the spot with a good save from Peter Crook. The second-half was a bit of an anti-climax as Kendal struggled to find a way back into the game.
They did finally get a consolation goal through substitute Maison McGeechan on 84 minutes but by then the points were already Railways.
