At its Executive Council meeting on 9 November 2013, Skipton & Ripon Conservative Association re-adopted Julian Smith MP (pictured) as the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for the next General Election in 2015.
In doing so, members praised Julian’s commitment and hard work in all parts of the Constituency.
Chairman, Cllr Simon Myers said:
Julian has impressed everyone, not just Conservative members, by his activity in support of numerous issues benefiting Skipton & Ripon. He has fought for faster broadband, for support for the Tour de France and generally on rural issues and issues of concern to businesses and especially small businesses. We were delighted to agree his re-adoption unanimously.
