Brackenfield School’s U11 football team continue to go from strength to strength, this week winning the Harrogate & District U11 Football Finals played at Rossett School.
This was an extremely competitive tournament with 63 teams entered from across the area. Brackenfield won all of their first round matches in the tournament played at St.Aidan’s School.
This put them through to the finals where they won 3 matches and drew 2. This success now means that Brackenfield will compete in the North Yorkshire regional final in January. Head of Games at Brackenfield, Mr.Olesqui was delighted with the team’s progress.
Mr.Olesqui said:
I am really proud of the team’s achievements over the past year and wish them every success in the regional final. It would be fantastic for a Harrogate team to succeed at the finals. Watch this space!
