Brackenfield School held their annual Harvest Festival on Friday 4th October 2013.
Father Gary from St,Wilfred’s Church led the service which included traditional hymns and a performance of Stone Soup by Year 2.
Brackenfield pupils brought in a wide range of food that was later gratefully received by the Harrogate Homeless Project.
In addition a total of £262.27 was raised for the food aid charity Concern Worldwide.
Principal, Anthony Comerford was very pleased with the event:
We are once again delighted to support our local homeless centre through our Harvest Festival and donate to Concern Worldwide. The children deserve a lot of praise for the thought and effort they have put into their donations. Thank you to all of our families for their fabulous support.
