Sunday at Leeds Festival featured Eminem as the main stage headline act, it also featured another type of M&M, that was mud and music in large quantities.
From the car parks to the camp sites and to the main arena, there was mud and lots of it. By the time Sunday came around the ground was showing the effects of thousands of feet and some heavy downpours.
But did the mud matter ? apparently not really!

Joanne Philp I went on Saturda, first time for me and although I’ve come home with bruised ribs I will definitely go again, the atmosphere was buzzing at Greenday. I thought it was well organised, loads of bars and staff so I didn’t have to queue for a drink :-). Everyone was friendly and the only slight downside was trudging through the mud at the end of the night but even that had it’s funny side, maybe not so much for the campers lol.
Jeanette Sheppard – The surprise visit from Dido to sing with Eminem made it for me! Brilliant! Though never seen so much mud in my life!
Although the mud was a little unforgiving, it failed to dampen spirits.
The event offered its normal variety of stages, from rock to dance to emerging acts.The crowds moved in great swathes between between each act with an apparent surge of people to the main stage as the countdown started to the headline.
For next year though, please can we have some dry weather.
