Emergency services were called to the Yorkshire Lass Public House in Knaresborough, yesterday evening at 7pm, following reports of a fire. (3 Jan 13)
The basement was found to be insecure and some material had been ignited.
The fire was quickly extinguished and building secured.
Police said it was likely to have been started deliberately.
