Harrogate police have released images as they appeal for information following incidents of criminal damage in the town.
They occurred between Monday 17 December and Saturday 29 December 2012, when vandals sprayed graffiti in the underpass leading from Norwood Grove to the Hydro from Oakbank and on telephone exchange boxes on Euclid Avenue, Hartwith Road and Jennyfield Drive.
Police Community Support Officer Michael Smith, of Harrogate Safer Neighbourhood Team, said:
This type of mindless vandalism is utterly pointless and the vandals need to be caught as they need to understand the negative impact it has on our communities.
I ask people to take a look at graffiti tags to see if they can identify those responsible. If you can put names to the vandals, or may have witnessed the damage taking place, please contact the police or Crimestoppers straight away.
I would also like to speak to anyone who has seen other graffiti which may not have been reported to the police.
Anyone who can help the police with their enquiries is asked to contact Harrogate police on 101, press option 2 and ask for Michael Smith. Alternatively information can be emailed to michael.smith@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk.
Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
