The Harrogate-based firm delivered projects for clients in a wide range of sectors including Yorkshire surveyors Eddisons, global gaming accessories firm GioTeck and retailers BHS, Debenhams and Bathrooms4all.

Managing director Rob Burns said the agency’s decision to invest inwardly to strengthen its expertise and expand its digital marketing offering had played a key role in its success.

Rob Burns said:

In such a competitive market we have had to spend time and money differentiating ourselves from other agencies and ensuring we have the expertise to offer the full range of digital services including mobile sites, online marketing and social media.

We combine design, technical features, optimised search and social marketing with a focus on results, not just search rankings or traffic.

This extends to our development work which is geared towards converting website traffic into sales or enquiries.

9xb.com was founded in North Yorkshire in 2004 and moved to its current premises on Harrogate Business Park in 2008.

Mr Burns said he expected to see further growth this year:

We have just made some strategic new senior appointments to help us fulfil some exciting plans for the year ahead.

We are aiming to replicate last year’s 20% growth and hope to expand our portfolio of big brand clients which will see us raise our profile as a leading national full service digital agency.
