Police are appealing to Ripon pub customers to help them with an investigation into an assault.
Between 10.30pm and 10.45pm on the evening of Friday 21 September 2012, an altercation took place in the men’s toilet of the Unicorn pub in Ripon market place.
An 18-year-old man from Knaresborough was punched in the face by another, which caused cuts and swelling to his face.
Police investigating the assault are appealing for anyone who was in the pub at the time or anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
Anyone who can assist the police investigation is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC Dave Furlong.

A 20-year-old man from the Thirsk area has been arrested in connection with the incident and released on bail while the investigation continues.
