Detectives are asking for the public’s help following a burglary in Helperby.
It took place between 10am on Saturday 12 February and 8.30pm on Sunday 13 February 2011 from a property at the south end, on the outskirts, of the village.
The thieves made a search of the home before stealing a large quantity of jewellery including gold and silver necklaces, some with pendants, gold and silver rings and bracelets as well as a digital camera, a video camera and a pair of binoculars.
Detective Constable Lee Allenby, of Northallerton CID, said: “This burglary has naturally left the homeowners feeling very upset.
“I would like to speak to anyone who has any information about the burglars who committed this theft or may have been offered any of the stolen items. I ask that they contact me as soon as possible.”
