The Little Red Bus have launched a travel club to help people get out and about in and around the Harrogate, Knaresborough and Ripon region.
6% of older people leave their house only once a week or less and half of all older people say the TV is their main companion
The Little Red Bus want to make a difference to people’s lives and give them something to look forward to and have arranged a schedule of day trips and outings for everyone to enjoy in and around Harrogate and Ripon. They have organised bus trips to the Christmas Lights, the Dickensian Festival at Lightwater Valley, Stockeld Park Christmas Adventure or late night Xmas shopping – there’s something for everyone and all for a very reasonable price.
Either individual bookings can be made or group bookings with fully accessible buses which can accommodate wheelchairs and pushchairs. Each trip will pick up from home, travel to the destination and return journey to drop off at your home if required or a central pick up point.
