>Harrogate Ladies’ College has recently announced a new addition to its English department.
Ruth Morris, who started at the school in September, has a repertoire of academic achievements. A highly skilled writer, Ruth has authored eight articles, six of which are in print and two have been accepted for publication. She has also authored three books, co-authored one and contributed a chapter to another.
Ruth has worked in various teaching roles before joining HLC, working as a Teaching Assistant/Tutor within the School of Language and Literature at the University of Aberdeen, and as a Director of Studies for a summer camp which was hosted at Ashville College. Ruth has also enjoyed freelance copy writing positions with various companies, including Netstep Corporate Communications and Excelle Magazine to name but a few.
Rhiannon Wilkinson, Headmistress, says:
Supporting the academic development of our pupils is a key priority for HLC. Appointing highly-skilled members of staff within our departments is crucial to maintain our excellent standard of academic success, and we are thrilled to welcome Ruth Morris as a new addition to HLC.
