Police are currently dealing with a road traffic collision which has occurred following an oil spillage on the A59.
The spill is affecting various points along the A59 between Harrogate and Skipton and police are advising motorists to “exercise caution” when travelling along the route this afternoon.
The Highways Department at the council have been notified and are making the necessary arrangements for the oil to be removed.
