A late night venue on Station Parade In Harrogate is under new management and has re-branded and re-launched with a new name “The Club”
The venue was previously operated under the name of Boutique and before that Club Zero. Turning the clock back ten years, the venue was a highly successful club under the name Cardinal Sins. In recent times business has been more difficult with greater competition in the town and the change in drinking habits as a result of slump in the economy.
The new management team of Liam Gray and Steve Davey have come in with new ideas in how to make the venue a success by offering live music, comedy and club nights.

Steve Davey said:
We are really excited with where The Club will go. We haven’t needed to do much with the layout of the venue itself, just some minor work.
We are really looking forward to getting some good local bands playing and offer good value drinks and just a good night out.
The bands will be from early evening and then we will be open late turning into more of a club night. We are aiming for a place where people can relax and chill-out, where they can listen to the music or just chat with friends.
Liam Gray added:
There will be parts of the club without loudspeakers so that people can just have a drink and talk. It’s important to us that we offer something for a wide range of people.
We haven’t set a music policy or decided on the music we will play later in the night – we would really welcome people’s thoughts on that.
We also would like bands to contact us, either to play in the club or to use it as a practice venue. Supporting bands is important to us.
John Haxby of Kula Productions, who has developed a strong reputation in the area for managing and promoting music events in Harrogate and Knaresborough will be providing many of the Bands.
John Haxby said:
The Club has the potential to become Harrogate’s ‘Fibbers’. With a 300 capacity it slots neatly between The Frazer Theatre and The Harrogate Theatre for Kula promoted concerts. It is will also be a great venue for rock bands both local and national… watch this space!
