The Pinewoods Conservation Group the Christmas Advent Walk at the Pinewoods with the addition of painted elf door.
It’s to add a touch of enchantment to the forest, and an opportunity for your creative spirit to bring some extra magic to this festive season.
They have 24 numbered elf doors that need to be painted. They will provide the base doors (with thanks to Harlow Hill Men in Sheds) and can collect if needed. The elf door painters need to bring the imagination!

We’ve done a couple of projects before at Christmas, but this is planning to be our biggest and most ambitious yet. We’ve already had several local schools and youth groups get in touch to help decorate the doors.
We’ll be publishing more details of the actual Advent Walk at the end of November but would encourage everybody to come down to take a look.
Ideally they are looking for schools and youth groups to get involved. However, we maybe able to make doors available to local businesses and families where a small donation would be appreciated.
