At 20:07, 25 March 2021, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue reponded to a fire in a property on Avenue Grove in Harrogate.
Crews from Harrogate, Kanresborough, Boroughbridge, Ripon and Huntington attended a fire in a first floor bedroom of a property.
The fire spread throughout the first floor and caused 100% heat and fire damage to first floor, 100% smoke logging to the ground floor and light smoke logging throughout neighbouring properties.
All the occupants of the property were out on the arrival of fire crews.
Crews extinguished the fire, ventilated the property and checked neighbouring properties for fire spread.
Crews used 10 breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets, 45mm jet, delta lance, triple extension ladder, lighting and thermal imaging camera. The cause of the fire is being investigated
