Businesses from across the region have clubbed together to raise over £4,000 for Henshaws at its fifth annual charity golf day.
The event, which was held at the 18-hole Harrogate Golf Club, gave avid golfers the opportunity to practice their putting techniques as well as take part in a number of fun events including a barbecue, raffle and an innovative Blind Chipping Challenge.
Euro Aerials were crowned the winners and each team member was awarded with a handmade bench crafted by art makers from Henshaws Arts & Craft Centre.
Hannah Saxon, community and events fundraiser at Henshaws College, said: “We were so glad to see such a great turn out and would like to congratulate the winners from Euro Aerials and thank all our sponsors who made the day a success.
“Henshaws relies heavily on charitable donations and the money raised at the golf day will help Henshaws to continue its work across the North of England providing facilities and support to people with visual impairments and disabilities.”
