Boiling Frog is about to make its debut at Harrogate Theatre this week.
Written by local man Keith Humphrey, and produced by Humruddy Productions Limited, Boiling Frog tells the story of family man Lewis Angel, whose seemingly perfect life takes an unexpected turn. Audiences can look forward to an intriguing story line, and powerful numbers performed by a talented local cast, the youngest member of which is just 9.
Audiences may also recognise Christian Lunn who will be playing Lewis’s tormenter, “Twelve”. Christian has wowed Harrogate audiences throughout the years with his performances at concerts and charity events, and this will be one of the last chances to see him before he sets off for the prestigious Guilford School of Acting to study a BA in Musical Theatre.
Writer, Keith Humphrey says “The journey of getting this musical from the page to the stage is nearly complete. This is Harrogate audience’s chance to be part of something really special. This is only the beginning for Boiling Frog, a musical which we anticipate will put Harrogate on the map.”
The musical runs 14th – 16th July at the Harrogate Theatre.
