Police investigating an assault in a Harrogate nightclub have released an image of a man believed to be responsible.
At around 2.30am on Sunday 27 March 2011, a 20-year-old man from York had a front tooth knocked out when he was attacked in Moko Lounge, on King’s Road.
The victim attended York District Hospital where he had three stitches to a wound on the inside of his lip and also received treatment for bruising and swelling to his face.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage in the club and the surrounding area and having identified are suspect are now asking the public to help identify him.
PC Chris Spackman, of Harrogate police, said: “This was a nasty attack which appears to have been unprovoked.
“We have managed to obtain a very clear image of a man we would like to speak to in connection with the incident and I am hopeful that someone will recognise him and let us know who is.
“I am also appealing to anyone who may have seen the assault itself to contact the police or Crimestoppers with information.”
