CE Electric UK have informed today (21 June 2011 at 18:30) that there is currently a power cut affecting 1300 households/ commercial properties in Harrogate.
The areas effected include Montpellier, Harewood street, Parliament Street and Cold Bath Road. This list isn’t exhaustive however.
Engineers are working on the problem and they estimate that power will be restored by 20:30
It is possible that the power blips experienced today have been caused by a fault with an auto-reclose. This can be caused by trees touching lines.
