Simon Cotton said:
Life in hospitality is always entertaining so I am not surprised Channel 4 has embraced the industry with this programme. The Yorkshire Hotel is such a focal point in Harrogate and is set right in the heart of the town. We filmed the programme last year before Covid-19 so you will see a very different side to where we are today – a side I am looking forward to getting back to.
The spike in traffic to our website and the surge in bookings is a very welcome boost to the hotel group and all the team are looking forward to getting back open again as soon as it is safe to do so and welcoming guests back through the doors.
The Yorkshire Hotel is owned by the HRH Group, a Yorkshire hotel, restaurant, inns and pub group with 8 establishments in York, Harrogate and Kirby Fleetham.
The final episode of the series air next Tuesday with Simon Cotton also set to feature as he joins in the Best Western head office annual conference.
