The body of a man which was recovered earlier from an area of flooding near to Intake Lane in Beal on 6 January 2025
He has been informally identified, and police are currently in the process of tracing the man’s next of kin and formal identification will take place in due course.
Police have said that at this stage, there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the discovery. A file will be prepared for the coroner.
