The Little Bird Made team who organise artisan markets throughout the Yorkshire area are delighted to announce the new location of their market in Knaresborough. This Saturday will see the market move to the grounds of Knaresborough Castle for an even bigger and better market than the old location.
Managing Director, Jackie has been working closely with Knaresborough Town Council and Harrogate Borough Council and said, “We are always looking at ways to improve the markets and we had outgrown our previous location in the Market Place. We are grateful to be working with both Councils to find an alternative venue in the Castle grounds, which will allow us the opportunity to continue to grow and develop. Both staff are traders are really looking forward to the first market on Saturday and we promise all our customers a great day out when they come to visit us”.
The first weekend of the month also means it’s a triple market weekend, with markets setting up in Tadcaster on Friday, Knaresborough on Saturday and the beautiful Valley Gardens in Harrogate on Sunday. Lots more opportunities to visit your favourite stalls in a location near you.
Yorkshire is filled with amazing makers, bakers, crafters, designers and not forgetting the artists and photographers who capture stunning images from around the local area. Some of the stalls this weekend will include, Knaresborough based Made from Mountains with their art and lifestyle products inspired by the great outdoors around the Yorkshire area, Harrogate based Manth jewellery with beautiful handmade jewellery in sterling silver and 9ct gold, Happy Barista Coffee who will keep you topped up in hot drinks throughout the day, Carbon Art with a variety of products showcasing their hand drawn pencil images of the Yorkshire landscape, Top Dog Treats with treats to suit all your pets tastes and preferences and Gazelle Crafts who specialise in products that will make your garden wildlife friendly, so if you’re looking for a new a birdbox, pop along and visit them. They will also be joined by Little Lovers with their beautiful ceramic jewellery and pots all designed and handmade, so each item is unique and The Cheesy Living company with their pick your own cheese, meats and accessories boxes, an ideal buy for Sunday lunch.
