The Frazer Theatre Comedy Club is finally back in action after two and a half long years! It was March 2020 when our incredibly popular monthly club last opened its doors, but those doors are now being flung open once more ready to welcome audiences once more!
The classic formula hasn’t changed-on Friday 2 September 2022 (and the first Friday of every month from then on) four of the very best stand-ups in the country will be performing live on stage in the newly-renovated Frazer Theatre. What’s more, even now, almost eight years after our first show, tickets are still just £10 in advance, so it really is the best value night out around!

Although we’ve run some one-off tour shows and a very successful Edinburgh Preview Season since the Frazer reopened, we’ve been missing our monthly club a great deal and it’s absolutely fantastic to be back in action at long last. Our monthly club is the beating heart of everything comedy related at the Frazer Theatre and we’ve made sure to book a suitably awesome selection of talent for our epic comeback.
Our headliner Paul Tonkinson is a name that has been on our “want” list for many years, famed for his effervescent physicality and skillful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century living. Co-headliner Louise Young is a hot new name on the comedy circuit, continuing the rich tradition of Newcastle-born stand-ups and bound to make a great impression with our audience on her debut appearance.
Hannah Platt blew everybody away when she played our stage previously and we are delighted to have her razor sharp and acerbic wit back for our comeback event. Rounding out our line-up is Sully O’Sullivan, one of our most popular MC’s ever making a welcome return to take control of proceedings for the evening once again. We can confidently predict this is going to be a night to remember-don’t miss it!
