Pannal Ash U13 have had amazing success over the past few weeks.
They have entered 4 tournaments and reached the final in all 4!
They won the local Killinghall tournament for the 3rd time in a row before then travelling to the York City tournament where they reached the final not conceding a single goal.
Unfortunately this one wasn’t meant to be, and they were runners-up determined by the dreaded penalty shoot out. This didn’t stop Pannal Ash’s determination as the very next day they travelled to Thornes JFC in Ossett and were once again victorious lifting the trophy, after a penalty shoot out in the semis Pannal Ash were not leaving the final to chance and put a goal in the back of the net to secure the win in the final.
Pannal Ash then made the journey to the East coast beach soccer tournament on the beautiful south beach in Bridlington, the weather was tropical and the sand hot on the boys feet but sun cream at the ready the boys were ready to battle.
Again Pannal Ash went through the whole tournament without conceding a goal. The final was nail-biting and went to extra time but Pannal Ash rose to the occasion and scored 2 goals in 2 minutes securing them their third trophy in as many weeks.
Amazing teamwork from all the boys, the support from parents who travel and cheer from the side-lines is amazing but none of it would be possible without our coaches Gary Singleton and Darren Morrell.
They have given thanks to Sponsor Sand communications, who allow them to keep playing these tournaments and keep the boys in kit for the season.
