Drop in and see your MP at Woodfield Community Day this Saturday

13 July 2022

Local MP Andrew Jones will be holding an advice clinic at the Woodfield Community Day at Woodfield Primary School on Woodfield Road this Saturday (16 July 2022) from 10am until 12noon.  Mr Jones and members of his casework team will be on hand to speak to constituents about any issues they might have.

The event is held to raise money for Bilton and Woodfield Community Library and Mr Jones is making a contribution.

The advice clinic is an opportunity for anyone to drop-in and have an informal talk about any issues with him.

Andrew said:

It is important for an MP to have an open door to constituents because it is the public for whom MP’s work. That is why I meet constituents at my office week-in week-out to address any issues they may have.

But I realise that people often can’t make it to fixed appointments and so being at events like Woodfield Community Day is great because people can just walk up and have a chat.  It is also good to be supporting Bilton and Woodfield Community Library.  The library has gone from strength to strength since it moved from its previous home on Bilton Lane and became community-run.

Mr Jones also runs more formal surgeries several times a month and these can be booked by contacting his office on 01423 529614 or emailing him at andrew.jones.mp@parliament.uk with your contact details.
