At a recent meeting of SI Harrogate and District at the Crown Hotel, Lesley Berry was presented with her Long Service Award for 30 years membership of Soroptimist International.
The certificate was presented by President Elect, Pat Shore, with whom Lesley shares two grandchildren, Jake and Jaime. Both ladies are former Yorkshire Presidents, Federation Councillors and Presidents of their respective Clubs. The marriage of their children, Matt Berry and Jenny Shore, cemented a long Friendship for the two Soroptimists.
Lesley said:
I was very proud to receive my Long Service Award. I have gained many friends and have had many fascinating experiences through being a Soroptimist. My two grandchildren being the best of all.
