North Yorkshire Police have declined to provide any detail on the incident that happened outside the Odeon in Harrogate late Saturday evening. (18 September 2021)
They have confirmed that a 19-year-old was arrested and released with no further action.
Locally it was reported that a man had a number of knives and had threatened a passer-by, prompting a response of 12 police officers, along with the dog unit.
