Covid 19: 6 in Harrogate Hospital and no perceivable increase due to return to school

The North Yorkshire Local Resilience Forum met today to brief the media (03 March 2021).

  • Infection rates and hospital in-patient cases continue to reduce
  • Weekending 13 March 2021, for England 0.29% have Covid (1 in 340 people) – ONS data comparison An estimated 568,100 people had COVID-19  England between 17 and 23 October 2020
  • Government agenda remains focused on lockdown compliance and take-up of vaccine
  • No peaks attributed to the return to schools

  • North Yorkshire – 44 (was 46)
  • Scarborough – 34  (was 30.3)
  • Craven – 29.8 (was 36.8)
